What do I need?

• Is an incoming number needed? We can assign you with your own incoming number so that people on POTS can dial you from anywhere. The davantage here is that you can use our system as a very sophisticated Phone system offering Interactive Phone Response that guides the callers to a particular deparment or user.
• Decide on the number of internal extensions needed. These are typically assigned to internal users no matter where they are, in office, at home, or in another country.
• Our VOIP system works with any standard VOIP handset. We currently recommend the Siemens Gigaset. This particular model is a dual phone which works over normal lines and VOIP. Soft Phones are also supported, we only recommend these if a good quality headset is used. Our Favourite is X-Lite, the free softphone from Counterpath.
• Reduce your cost even further by using VOIP adaptors to convert your existing phones to VOIP. We recommend the Linksys PAP2T adaptor, or the Grandstream Handytone.
