What is VOIP?

To put it simply, use the internet to call any number in the world at a fraction of POTS (plain old telephone system) costs.

VOIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. VOIP allows telephone calls to be transmitted over the internet either from a computer, or from an internet phone. Usually this allows for clearer line quality, and cheaper calls. The line will always be available so long as there in an internet connection.
